L. Michael Waters, Jr., DO, FACOFPGeorgia Osteopathic Care Center

Dr. Waters earned his Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree from Nova Southeastern University COM (now Kieran Patel COM at NSU). He completed an internship and residency at St. Vincent's Family Medical Center in Jacksonville, FL.

Dr. Waters has practiced family medicine for more than 15 years and has held multiple leadership positions within Florida and Georgia osteopathic organizations. He is currently an associate professor and the chair of primary care at PCOM Georgia, which has him travel around the state of Georgia helping teach DO and MD residents how to perform osteopathic manipulative medicine (OMM). Dr. Waters also serves on the national OMTeaching committee, has spoken to national conferences about OMM, and is a NBOME subject expert in OMM.
